The Jetta S is a strong starting point. Volkswagen equipped this trim with a floating 8″ touchscreen, 8″ VW Digital Cockpit, wireless App-Connect, dual-zone Climatronic climate control, and the full IQ.DRIVE driver-assist suite as standard. Cloth seating and an 8-speed automatic round out the package nicely.
The Sport adds real road presence. Volkswagen fitted it with the XDS Cross Differential and 17″ alloy wheels. Heated front seats keep everyday driving comfortable without sacrificing any of that sharper character.
The SE leans into comfort and convenience. CloudTex seats replace cloth, a standard sunroof is now included for 2026, and wireless charging with wireless App-Connect adds a level of daily usability that genuinely makes a difference.
The SEL elevates the cabin noticeably. Vienna leather seating, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated outboard rear seats make the interior feel like a step up in class. The sunroof opens things up, the 10.25″ Digital Cockpit Pro replaces the standard 8″ digital cluster with a larger, and fully configurable display.
The GLI Autobahn is its own thing entirely. Volkswagen dropped in a 2.0L Turbo I4 producing 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG. Multimode DCC adaptive chassis control, a VAQ limited-slip front differential, and red brake calipers over 13.4″ front rotors make it the most driver-focused Jetta we carry. Perforated Vienna leather seats with red stitching and paddle shifters on DSG-equipped models bring that sporting intent straight into the cabin.
The S, Sport, SE, and SEL all share the same drivetrain: a 1.5L Turbo I4 producing 158 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic, with an EPA-estimated 29 city / 40 highway mpg.
The GLI Autobahn steps up to a 2.0L Turbo I4 producing 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG, and rated at an EPA-estimated 26 city / 36 highway mpg.
